Chemical Peel

A resurfacing acid blend chosen for your skin on the day, from a light refresh to a deeper correction for texture and pigment.

The treatment

Every service is always customized and tailored to your individual needs.

Who it's for

For skin that wants refreshing, and for concerns with texture and pigment. Peels aren't offered to anyone under 18, or during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Duration

45 minutes.

What to expect

Your skin is cleansed and prepared, then the peel is applied for a set time. Tingling, warmth or mild stinging is normal while it works. Afterwards skin may look pink and feel tight or warm. Depending on the peel, you may see little peeling, or some flaking over the following days.

Aftercare

Wear a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher and keep out of the sun. Let any peeling skin shed on its own. Skip exfoliants, retinoids and active acids for five to seven days, or as advised. A gentle cleanser and moisturizer only, and no saunas, hot yoga or heavy sweating for 24 to 48 hours. You'll leave with a full aftercare sheet.

Questions

How long is a chemical peel appointment?

Forty-five minutes.

Will my skin peel?

It depends on the peel chosen for you. A light refresh may show little visible peeling; a deeper correction may flake for a few days. Your skin is more sensitive to the sun during that time.

Do I need a consultation first?
